I’m not sure who originally posted this to tumblr, but these kids can honestly teach you more in life than any professor, any doctor, anyone could ever teach you in your life entirely. I know because I was there when this picture was taken, at a very young age I had the wonderful opportunity to meet these children and learn so much about who they are and how strong they are. This picture was taken in Florida on a once a year trip that reunites children from across the globe with the same aging disorder. Spending a week every year with these kids since birth, up until I think I was about 14 or 15 was the biggest blessing I could have ever asked for. They touched my heart in a way that I could never explain with words, brought me new meaning to life that I could never understand before. And for that I am forever grateful.
